The Little Red Dot Family Center

The Little Red Dot Family Center was named in remembrance of Walter Sr (Little Red) and Doris (Dot) Scott, the founders of Miracle Revival Incorporated and Restoration Outreach Community Center who lived their lives dedicated to supporting families. Walter and Doris were loving parents and grandparents that cherished the moments when they were surrounded by family and friends. They especially loved to see children playing and having fun.

In honor of their memory and legacy, the Little Red Dot Family Center will be a safe haven designed to promote unity and harmony regardless of gender, age, ethnic and socio-economic background.

Love, Kindness, Respect, and Joy will be the governing pillars of the Little Red Dot Family Center.

As you can imagine it literally takes an entire village to all chip in to properly execute and serve those that need our help. What a great opportunity for those of us who have been so blessed. Let’s take this opportunity to spread hope, encouragement to those who have felt disenfranchised, forgotten, or simply need a safe place to go for a few hours where they know they will be met with a smile, kindness, and respect regardless of what challenges might have come their way. Wherever there is peace there is hope.

Our goal is to have the Little Red Dot Family Center up and operating by the time our youth return in early 2022. We want to be able to accommodate our youth for after-school and weekend programs. To do so we are asking for your support in helping us to secure and develop the equipment and programs we need.

Below you’ll find a list of items needed. Either a donation earmarked specifically to the Little Red Dot Family Center located at 8333 N Ivanhoe Street Portland, Oregon, or if you would purchase one or more of the items listed below it would help. Sometimes it might be something you have access to or someone you might know who has these items or they would like to pay it forward and help us as we renew hope to those that just need a hand up.

The Little Red Dot Family Center will be a focal point for local youth but for family services as well.

One of our needs is to develop programs and opportunities that promote educational achievement.

After-school tutoring and assistance programs are drastically needed. This will open the opportunity for the creation and development of Peer Tutoring, Mentorship programs, and student-teacher hands-on work.
